Be Kind Rewind (2008)

A lot of viewers, especially younger ones, just didn't get this movie. They came away from it wanting to know who in the world still watches VHS tapes or why anyone would enjoy a crappy homemade version of Ghostbusters. Rest assured, there are a few family-run video stores out there that still rent VHS, and a few customers who still like to patronize them. Anyway, even though Jack Black's character gets the theme song to Ghostbusters wrong, that scene still amounts to a much deserved love letter to the 1984 classic. Although not as deep as Eternal Sunshine or The Science of Sleep, I think the premise is brilliant and the story is pretty touching.
