Pink Flamingos (1972)
Roger Ebert refused to give a star rating to this film and said that "It should be considered not as a film but as a fact, or perhaps as an object." I give it one star not because I think it is worthless or insignificant, but because there is really no reason for anyone to see it, even fans of John Waters' later work. Of all the weird and disgusting stuff you have seen or heard about on the Internet, most of it doesn't even come close to what you'll find in Pink Flamingos. There might be another film out there with a higher gross-out factor (I haven't seen the Jackass films) but for reasons I don't really want to go into I am certain that there will never, ever be another one made that's quite like this one.
